...wishes he was back dominating in SX/MX. After watching him do the sighting lap, race, and victory lap at Red Bud, I'd bet winning/dominating feels good.

If not SX/MX, maybe he should've retired to road racing. Could be he would've found more success doing that?

I don't know, but I'd love to see him back on two wheels of some sort.

One of the few negatives to being the best in the world at something. You will probably never accomplish that feat again for the rest of your life. But what do I know, I would just like to be the best at my local track Wink

RC accomplished more in MX and SX than anyone ever dreamed was possible. But, it was at a cost. RC lived, breathed, trained, ate, drank and slept motocrss 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for years. Believe me, I think that the only thing he misses are the fans.

Those few laps were a walk through the park for RC. Sure he enjoyed the glory but there's a reason for why he retired.....(see Wandell's post)

exactly. he could come back and do it if he wanted to..but he has a family, and would never do it less than 100%.. that leaves no time for the kids.

not everybody gets to go out on top, by choice.

he is stoked. and is a legend.
