They should have some really good confidence next year at their home track.
I got a feeling they will hang it out.
They tasted victory this year and I don't think it set in a first.....but it will set in more over time.
Their not going to want to lose that trophy. Wink
Hopefully we have a good close race next year. Smile

Hsu is from Taiwan though, racing on a german license. Idk how that works out with mxon. I thought Nagl and Schiffer were way older though! :O I had a feeling Nagl would retire soon, thought he was close to 30 atleast!

Taiwan will never find a team so if Brain is smart he goes for Team Germany at the MXON. Look at what Dean Wilson did.

Honda Martin, a factory honda team in Europe. I hope he performs as good next year as this year. He really was motivated when he was back from injury to prove KTM that they made a mistake. I'm not sure if he's going to have the same motivation next year ...

I bet the chance to get back to back MXDN wins is pretty motivating though.....

I think Brian Hsu has lived since very young in Italy, I want to remember that his fader is a Violin's builder so he moved to the north of Italy to work and Brian has been raised there....

Brian Hsu was born in Taiwan and moved to Italy with his family when he was very young. But he has the german citizenship and not just a german license.

So with him winning the 2012 85ccm world championship, Henry Jacobi winning in 2010 and Ken Roczen in 2007 we have 3 out of the last 6 85ccm world champions coming from Germany. That sounds good and gives some confidence for the future.

I think Ken, Max and Marcus will be around some more years and with Brian and Henry coming up our MXoN Team looks solid for the next years. Right now with only three good riders, if someone will be injured when the MXoN comes around, there aren't much more fast riders to choose from. So in 2-3 years we are more solid with 4-5 riders to choose from.

Doesn't always work like that.

Still not alot of depth, if Roczen, Nagl or Schiffer are hurt next year for des Nations they will find very hard to get a top 3. And Henry Jacobi is quite a way of fracing in the des nations and running up front. He finished 9th this year in the EMX championship and he wasn't even close to Tim Gajser who won almost every round I think.

I'm bad with names, but there's a few up and comers, including Bonnini. Expect France and Italy to begin refilling the MX2 ranks. Belgium, Holland and Germany all have one or two prospects, but especially Belgium is going to be a shadow of its former self in a few years, sadly. In a year or 2 I expect the biggest things from Dylan Ferrandis (already in MX2) and the Slovenian Tim Gajser (dominated EMX125 this year, and is now in EMX2).

If Roczen, Nagl and Schiffer are hurt next year, we will not even be in the A-Final!!
There is no depth right now in Germany, its these three riders, and then there is.... ahm nothing even close to that speed.

Italy Bättig, Furlotti, Bonini, Righi and few kids in 85cc

Britain will (soon) knocking on the door, Wilson, Searle and Anstie and many young talent

Holland has a huge gap, we don't have 450 riders
but many talents on their way to the top (Davy Pootjes signed KTM factory contract 14 years of age)

and Russia is getting more and more serious

The 3 guys you saw in Lommel are by far the best we have. Jacobi never rode well since switching to the bigger bike. Hsu may be the only on with potential and proper backing.

I was meaning even if one of the winning 3 are injured, Germany couldn't win.
Thats the problem with a lot of teams, they have 3 good riders but its making sure they are all fit and healthy come the des nations. I believe USA could almost field 3 different teams and each one would have a good chance of winning.

The young Italians which are coming through are ok but not really tiped to be the next big things. If you look in MX2 this year which is basically an under 23 championship after Lupino ( 11th ) the next Italian was 30th. Theres such a long way to go from being top 5 in the 125 and 85 class to top Gp rider, I think more riders fail then make it.

I notice that some of the young riders coming through are from different countries such as Slovenia ( Gajser ) brothers from Denmark ( Olsen's ) Norway ( Klingsheim ) Latvia ( Jonass ) Spain ( Zaragoza Beltran ) Switerland ( Seewer ) and Bulgaria ( Ivan Petrov ) plus others.

France have alot of riders ( too many to name) coming as always and will be force, I don't know how they do it.

Britain do look to have a good team for the next few years with Wilson and Searle going full time 450's next year and Anstie on factory Suzuki 250 as well as Jake Nicholls ( 4th in MX2 this year ). And back up from Simpson, Pocock and even Banks - Browne all of these riders are under 25. Then there are couple younger riders such as Dunn and Mewse coming through the UEM series.

I'm sure I have left some riders out and will no doubt up set someone and then there is always the riders that fly under the rader.

Mewse should go onto great things,he's gotta be the best prospect to come out of the UK for a while now

OK, I see what you mean, talent is for me children who have the potential
When we talk about next big thing, don't expect too soon a new Roczen or Herlings, they are the exceptions (GP win at 15 years old)
