I will be there! My first time goin to an AMA national..I live in Canada but just so happens to be that I am down in west Texas working for two weeks, what a nice coincidence Smile 6 hour drive but I dont give a sh*t I am not missing this for nothing lol.

I was there for the Tranworld Dirt Day yesterday, Alessi might have a good shot at a win on this track (he was haulin' through the "Texas 12 Pack" last year and that's the only hard obstacle on the track). With his good starts and seeing as how Freestone is narrow and real hard to pass on, it could happen. We'll see ya there Sunday.

sorry Jonezy, but there's not much there...an airport is the best thing because you can get on a Southwest plane and leave!

It's pretty much an oil town that lives for high school football and it's not football season. I've never really spent time there. Lived a few hours east of Odessa in Abilene for several years. Mostly people go to bars and drink. There may be a track in Odessa, but it's not much from what I've heard.

Yeah I noticed that..been here for a week now and she is pretty bare. I went to the track and walked it since no one was even there, and as sad as it sounds I would love to ride that track! Way better than anything I have back home..which is why I am moving to east Texas lol. I cant get into my pms, but I checked odessa`s mx site and it said june 21? I will be gone by then so oh well..all I know is that I am definately goin this weekend got the hotel booked and everything

SEEMEFIRST Jr. and yours truely will be there.Looks like Saturday morning thru Sunday.
Maybe this year we'll be able to enjoy some of the other activities. Last year we were having a reunion at the ranch about an hour from the track, and we were only able to watch the race, and haul azz back....This time it's OUR weekend!

Yes. Tony changed the format because of the confusion last year. Talked to him last week and he said you will be able to go all the way around the track this year with no problems.

Is that a better place? Im lazy and was gonna sit my butt down on the bleachers at noon and take a break before they main stuff cranks up. LOL But will be all over the place all day taking pictures with the D200.

No, it doesn't matter to me, I posted that before I saw that Tony reconfigured the outer perimiter. The bleachers will be fine for me as long as it doesn't take a pit pass to get there.
