I have been to the Atlanta SX a number of times, but this will be my first Daytona SX. Need help with the following:
- schedule?
- best place to stay....at the beach or near the track?
- where/how are the pits set up?

Thanks for any help!

Best place to stay will be Orlando. Bike week in Daytona will be tough to find a good place at a decent price.

Pits are beside the track and open and free all day.

Allen is this you? That kind of looks like Cody.

Stay in NewSmyrna Beach......Best drive on beach in Fla. 15 min south...And go eat at JB's Fish Camp. Minimal bike week traffic most happenings are from daytona north to Ormand Beach.

If you live in Orange Park I would say save the money and just drive home after the race is over. We drive back to Jacksonville every year and the traffic is not bad at all. Just my 2 cents. Have fun at Daytona, it's a hoot.

We live in Fleming Island so it's only about 1.5 hours, but we were thinking of going down on Saturday and spending the night at the beach somewhere. Then return on Sunday. If there was a hotel that was popular with the MX/SX groups coming into town, we might stay there instead of the beach. Just checkin......

We are all jacked up to finally get to see Daytona SX live.

The teams usually stay towards Orlando. Somewhere in Lake Mary, Sanford, Altamonte Springs.........
