So it seems ticketmaster is as shit in the USA as it is here in England...

I'm trying to buy tickets for the houston SX but the stupid ticketmaster site won't let me choose the section I want my seats in! Keeps giving me tickets that are way to the left or right. And if I say I don't want the tickets it gives me and search again.. if gives me the exact same ones... I even tried phoning the number for tickets on the ama website but the retard ticketmaster robot can't understand my accent, and I can't do an American one to save my life.

First Q: If I leave it till the day before the supercross will I be able to get decent seats? I'm presuming this is a big no no.

2nd Q: Where else can I get some damn tickets from so I can collect them when I get there?

Thankyou muchly!

Houston doesn't sell out. You can get them any day you arrive there at the box office and good tickets depending on what you think is good.

You can call some Houston area Yamaha dealerships to see what kind of tickets they have. Usually, they are in the good sections!! I don't think they will have the tickets until it's a little closer to the event though.

They'll double-sell your seats, too. We had that issue in Indy.

Call ticket master use Skype so you don't pay a big phone bill talk to a ticket agent and get them to select your seats.

I'd say you could easily get good seats the day of the event at the stadium box office. That place is huge and won't sell out.

I cant stand Ticketmaster. My wife wanted Pink tickets when she came here. I went to the website right when they went on pre-sale on thier website. You could only buy them online during pre-sale. They auto-seat finder was giving crap tix when I wanted the General Admission area on the floor. After searching for tix and then releasing them to search again like 100 times for like 45 min, I finally got the GA tix.

Dude, i'd love to go to a national but we're flying out of L.A. to New zealand on March 2nd. Before that me and my lady are driving east to west coast and Houston is the only race that will just about fit in with our schedule...

Thanks for the tip off on the dealers i'll give them a try if I have nothing sorted nearer the time.

Steveo,

Contact the Venue/Stadium and buy your Tickets DIRECTLY from them.

You can have them mailed or waiting in Will-Call when you get there.

Best of Luck~!

I always go and get my tickets the day of the race. I drove down there last year Saturday morning and got the Club Level tickets for $40 each. I haven't checked how much they are this year though. The people at the ticket counter are always nice and they have a track map on hand. They will pull up and show you what sections and seats they have. The Club Level is right above the floor level. Great view!
