Here are a few:
Dungey
Moss
Short
Hahn
Bagget
Alessi
Morais
Canard
Pugmire
Evans
Paluzzi
Cunnigham
Wey
Lap times 2:14 - 2:18 Pros
2:22 - 2:24 Int.
Track was in excellent condition as Joe Olehauf (spelling) rips and waters the track the way it should be done. Cool conditions with a breeze.

Its a soft track there isn't it. Hangtown is hard pack.

Both were testing and not doing motos. Alessi was doing a lot of starts.
Hangtown has been changed, they continue to put rice in the dirt to soften it up and Comp is more of a sand hard pack with traction in the turns now unless the wind kicks up and blows everything out.

Can you explain about the rice into the dirt? I've never heard of that before.

Rice hulls. They hold moisture which helps keep it loamy. The racing surface was epic last year, and held up well all day long.

Heard at Friday that Alessi was running 2:01-04's while dungey was 2:03-06's. But were overall pretty close but that day Alessi was everaging faster times. Both were running 40 minute moto's.

Old mate, instead of dropping these cryptic "I heard Dungey is at... (but I really just want to see what's up with my kids), I think people would step up if you just asked for people to get shots of them and post them up.

Masonry you have stated the obvious, i think everyone reading already knows i want to see my kids, you try living in a different country and follow there riding. My main goal though is i coach for a living, talk to my boys about there riding and training on the phone BUT i really want to see all the pros riding, whether its an opinion, photo or video. So do you watch or have you seen any of the pro's training.

Old Mate,

Why the hell aren't you over there watching and helping them?

I know you have a successful coaching business but I am sure that it would survive a 2 or 3 month break whilst you followed your sons around watching them chase their dreams!

If I was in your shoes I would move heaven and earth to get over there to watch my sons race in the pinnacle of our sport!!!

I hope for your sake you don't get 5 or 10 years down the track and say "I wish I had of done that!"

One of the biggest pains in life is the pain of regret!

Matt#49, I would love to be there, but just feeding and housing the rest of the family is a job, i said to my boys when young, it will take everything to get to AMA but if you want it you we will have to sacrifice, so we went on the road coaching most weekends, i stayed with club guests and they stayed with everyone from Priests to bikie gang members,Animal activists to hunters so they would be comfortable with whoever they met when they made it, Jake left for the USA at 18, i said ring this number from LA airport, some dude will pick you up and you can live with him, Jake"do you know him dad" No Jake "ok cool" see you at the end of the year. I get my first trip over for Redbud and Colorada, cant wait,

Thanks for the great pics, Mototdog!

And I hear you, Old Mate, it must be a tough situation for you all. Looking forward to see how Matt will be doing at the Nat's. I hope they both stay injury free, so we can get to see their full potential.

I understand everything you are saying, it's just that I don't know how you do it! It would be killing me to have my sons over there and me over here.

Hope you have a great trip when you go.

And the best of luck to your 2 boys for the outdoors!

I love nothing more than watching someone chase their ultimate dreams!!!

Regardless of their results, in my mind they are already winners because they are gutsy enough to get up off their asses and give it a shot!
