Get at least the # of links that you have. Count the links, or if it still has stock gearing get at least 112 links, that's what it came with.

you need a 520, most chains just come in 120 links. stock length on a 09 KX250F is 110 links but if you are adding/subtracting teeth on the sprocket that will change. give me a call at Motosport if you want, we don't carry the exact chain you are looking at from Rocky Mountain, the "Primary Drive" brand is their in-house brand, but we have plenty of other chains that are as good or better for the same price... we have the Regina RX3 chains on clearance right now for the 49.77!

The DID ERT2 (520) is a good bet, you will probably have to cut it yourself, they usually come with extra links.
