Last season was littered with small injuries while practicing and I didn't make one gate. In early January at Amago I had a great groove going. I wear all the armor and a neck doughnut, but I hyperextended my left knee in a tight turn. End of February, almost fully healed and I fell out of the F350 and twisted the left knee 180. MRI showed only a torn maniscus and knee cap cartilidge, then in orthoscopy they found the torn ACL. I think I'm done again; four months of no riding or surfing and I'm going crazy. I won't have the ACL surgery until next month. I'm sure many here have had this surgery. What was your rehab time, and what stretches and exercises helped accelerate your healing process?
Thanks for the help.

Like CamP said cycling is really good therapy, and it beats sitting on the couch feeling sorry for yourself.
I suggest trying to walk as soon as you can, i ditched the crutches like 5 days after the surgery. Doc said the sooner I could start walking the better.
I had Dr. Henderson in La Jolla fix me up, whos your Dr.?
