I know this has been addressed a hundred times but I wasn't in the market then and wasn't paying attention.

I am looking at shipping a bike from DFW to Alaska.

Aren't there some companies that specialize in bike & car shipping?
Regular freight last time I checked was insane.

Thanks in advance.

1984 RM500 Brad Lackey replica might get a little tiring for that trip. Smile

The guy is supposed to send them to me soon.
Old friend who I haven't seen in 30 years.
Had lunch with him today and he said he was looking to get rid of it.
Original owner and everything is solid on it and it runs well.
All I wanna do is holeshot all the Vet classes and then just pull off the track.
Can't even imagine riding it around a track. LOL

I found one on the Harley Davidson website. They gave me the best quote to move a bike from MI to SLC, UT.

I've never rode a 500.
I'm already scared.

I have used http://www.uship.com/ several times for shipping bikes, never had a problem.
Before them I used Forward Air, more expensive but reliable as long as you had a terminal in your immediate area on both ends.

FedEx Ground is pretty good if you have an account with them.
