Reminds me of the Johnny Cash song (One piece at a time) where he takes car parts from the assembly plant and it takes him 4-5years to build a car...



It's a 51,52,53,54,55 automobile...

84 with an 85 seat.

85 was the first year of front disk (for the 250 for sure, I think 125 also).

I still have an 87 YZ125, which was my first bike and wasn't worth selling once I bought newer models. It's in relatively good condition and I did the piston and ring last year (haven't ridden it since), so it runs well. However I need to replace the clutch, new tyres and other bits and pieces. It could most certainly do with a make over.

Anyone have a link to a site that sells old Yamaha spares?

I was on the floor at Texas Stadium when they filmed that. The neon orange paint was straight from the can with overspray everywhere, and all the junk they put on those bikes was nuts.
