That looks bad ass. I played the crap out of BF 2, until Black Ops came out, now I'm bored with Black Ops. I can see many hours being wasted playing that game.

Wow thanks for posting these!

The textures, lighting, the movement of the characters etc, is astonishing. I clicked on those videos expect to see something good but not that good. It almost look's like a movie.

I'm really looking forward primarily to BMAC and Dues Ex 3 but this game is now definitely on my radar along with those.

Will it be on PC?

the videos are actually the PC version. supposedly the console version will be on par, but i'm sure it won't be quite as fluid.

This game is based on PC.

The console guys are going to have a reduced version. You won't be able to play 64 player maps, and like always, be missing out on the graphical features that PC offers.

As far as graphics go, crysis and crysis warhead were the best looking games ever. Crysis 2, well it's just a console port. It's a shame to see crytek go backwards in quality like that.

have you played on Hardcore mode?? Its even better, no kill cam, no radar. A lot more tactical and stealthy

speaking of...

i played and beat Crysis 2 this weekend, loved every minute of it. i was impressed with the graphics, but i'm strictly a console game. the gameplay is what had me sold though, it was fucking awesome.

Not to get too far off course, but the first Crysis was PC only, and had a map editor and SDK. With a few mods, it's easy to make environments that look like this (of course you need a good PC to crank the settings up.) This is from a mod called "real lifesys" I believe.



Back on topic:

I've been playing the Battlefield series since 1942 came out. After playing BFBC2, this one certainly looks like a winner.

Us PC gamers love us some 64 player Battlefield. Also looking forward to the BF2 map "Strike at Karkand." That map is just going to be insane with the destructible environments that frostbite offers.

Hardcore mode is awesome. Me and my mate play it on the PC and love it. Makes the game seem that much more realistic than it already is.

Hardcore mode on arica harbour is the best for being a sniper. I had my best sniper game the other day going 17-1
