I might be able to help you out. I ordered a 2003 cylinder which was on backorder from Honda, and to try and hurry things up I bought a 2004 cylinder on eBay and sent it to Millenium to get refurbished. Long story short, the original Honda order has come back in stock and I will end up with 2 x CR250 cylinders next week. Will let you know if that happens and you can have one of them.

The porting on the 2003 and 2004 cylinders is much improved over the 2002 although you might need to trim or modify your powervalves to fit as the 2003/4 use a slightly different design.

Honda parts scheme shows the 02-04 to be the same cylinder .

what do you want for it ?

They're the same fitment but there is different porting for each year so there's a different part number. Also, if you order a 2002 cylinder it comes complete with powervalves fitted because they are slightly different on that year. I'll just want what I've got into it which will be about the same price as a new OEM one, but won't be able to confirm until I actually have both of them in my possession.

03 cylinder seems the same for power valve pedals- 04 is different on the pedals. I have 2 02 bikes. 1 has a 04 new cylinder and the valves aren't quite wide enough but do work. Then I got a 03 cylinder for the other bike and the 02 pedals fit perfect inside of it. You just sacrifice some bottom end unless you buy some 04 pedals

If you send your cylinder to get replated, they can repair the bridge or gouges.
