10/11/2016 1:39pm Hey Sam, did your dad run Muntz after my dad left in '76? I quit paying attention to the track after my dad died. The name had changed to Valley Cycle Park in about 1975.

10/11/2016 1:35pm Baymare was in Somis, CA. You took the 118 (Los Angeles Ave.) to Balcom Canyon RD., then turned right onto Bixby Rd. It was in a canyon, at the end of the road. Just some dirt and a few ranch out-buildings there, from the current Google Earth images.

1/12/2016 12:45pm My dad managed Muntz/Valley Cycle Park, until it closed in 1976. My brother,Tom Zahnter, and I both raced at Baymare in the mid-late '60's. I'll have to dig out some photos----.
