I p/u a winter project a 1980 yz 250 -have it all put back together ! now its a matter of getting the sob to start %^&$%^$## its getting fuel- getting spark - has good compression!!! I guess what my question might be is there common problem with these bikes ? I have read that they are hard starters but...

wow the beast fired right up with the thimble of gas trick !!!!!!!! at least I know it lives . I know now diffidently its carb problems . have to do some adjustments ,will try and post some pictures on site soon .thanks to all suggestions great to know were to get advice and ideas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
