The only problem I see with these changes involves the rear number plates. For casual fans who don't follow the sport and go to a race, it will be harder for them to identify who the rider is. Imagine the confusion for fans when it is a mud race, or even in the sand at Southwick, and they will be unable to read the number on the front plate.
