7/10/2018 7:04am Hi there, Wanted to share the cr250 i bought a few months ago. I'm going to take it apart completely, make everything fresh and do some upgrades. The way i bought it, it had a strange combination of front plate and fender. Overall not a bad looking bike, nothing bended or broken at first sight. Needs a good clean and...

7/7/2018 2:40am Couldn't agree more, fits the bike way better! Also very easy to adapt too! The coating seems to hold pretty well, of course the ignition cover is getting some wear and tear from the boot

7/7/2018 2:37am Thanks! I did, runs great! Still doesn't have a lot of bottom end but the v-force did make the transition to the power band a lot smoother. It's a bike you have to learn to ride i guess.

7/3/2018 11:35pm Well I've made some big steps last weeks so i could take the bike with me on a long weekend of riding in Germany. Really like how it turned out.

6/23/2018 2:12am The calipers are keramic coated and baked. Ofcourse rebuilded both with a rebuild kit.
Like how it worked out! The coating feels very hard but I'm not sure how it will hold in the deep sand, we will see!

6/20/2018 10:51pm Thanks for the info! I know a lot of Cr250 owners are dropping the mikuni for a keihin (probably for good reasons). I will be sticking with the mikuni at first, but depending how it runs with the other sprockets and v-force might switch to keihin. I've read you can't use the TPS on a keihin though..

6/20/2018 10:47pm Got the frame back from the welder! Cleaned up the engine and put it back in. Bought a IMS steel shift lever, wanted to try something different than a aluminum one and really like the look and feel of it. Also a moose case saver and almost everywhere new bolts.
And these titanium footpegs
Ordered new footpeg brackets...

6/18/2018 10:59pm My wallet doesn't
A long way to go though! Got some new CRF covers for the rear brake, hate those white (yellow) original covers! They bolt on right away.
Also a mishimoto carbon fiber radiator cap which i saw in a other bike build.

6/17/2018 11:14pm The front wheel was bended and had a small crack in the rim. Really like my new set of wheels with Pirelli mid-soft tires.

6/15/2018 9:23am Got the engine out and brought the frame to a welder. Some covers will get coated in the meantime. Took the reeds out and I was surprised about the worn out state. Luckily my V-force got in, looks like a good replacement.
