For those who are interested in another great read regarding Johnny, if you google "my hometown and the ballad of Johnny Montes" a wonderful blog from a great man who volunteered at the benefit we had for Johnny back in December. Certainly brought tears to my eyes.

Johnny is doing amazing!! Getting stronger everyday. Not walking on his own yet, but is definately gonna happen. I think the strength in prayers and support has helped him come so far. He is in a rehab center in Fredericton getting some much needed help. Please him in your prayers, his goal is to be able to ride again. And...

We got some movement today. Hands, legs and a little bit of head movement. Not awake yet, but its coming I am sure of it.Still on breathing machines but just for assistance. He is doing most of the breathing himself. Very exciting news for a change.

Just for the record, Johnny is not awake. He has not been awake since the accident. They have been trying to lower the sedation medication with no success yet. He still has machines breathing for him, which is still considered lifesupport. We are hoping he will show some signs of improvement soon. We miss his laugh!
