Yeah I cut those off the tongue. I run the top rows of lace under the velcro flap and use that to tidy up the lace and cinch inside the boot.

10/4/2024 8:13am Sweet, I’ll look into that. I’ve did you do any other modifications? Like cutting any of the elastic or whatnot on the bootie? I noticed there’s just a bunch of excess bulk too

buy eyelets and the cinch from amazon for like $10 and you can make your booties way tighter. I also have jacked ankles and this helped me a ton once the boots were fully broke in and i wanted that new boot stiffness back,

10/3/2024 12:38pm I’ve ran the Nihilo grip tape before and I found it just chews up my boots more. I’m not sure about the acerbis frame guards are but. I’ve seen a few boot companies add additional grip to the inside of the boot for some of their guys. Wasn’t sure if anyone has tried that themselves and how they went about...
