Yes, that is different because of the big sand bumps (rollers). I guess it works for Stephan, he must have learned it that way and obviously it worked very well for him. I think it would be better to learn it by leaving the clutch out and using a little throttle with the rear brake. In the sand, bumps like...

I would say you're going to be better off to leave the clutch out. If you don't want to be affected by the engine braking as much, then use a higher gear. Then as you get deeper into the corner, maybe just before you sit down, downshift. The brakes and throttle can be used together in certain situations. But this...
