I don't disagree that the statement was harsh but I also think Ricky made the point because it was relevant to the situation. The move by Friese was even more unnecessary and frustrating because of the fact that Craig was so much faster than him, meaning the pass was basically a foregone conclusion. Did Friese really think he was going to be able to obstruct Craig for the next nine minutes even though Craig was clearly faster? Or was he thinking that he'd suddenly find way more speed and run away from Craig? Neither was going to happen so Friese...

What you wrote is a fair statement, but Carmichael did tell the truth. Friese isn't as fast as Craig. Just saying in fairness.

So, here's my thought about the Friese/ Craig crash. I watched it 4-5 times. To me it looked like Craig had made a clean pass in the rhythm section and was past Friese. If you look at the roost coming off of Friese's rear tire it looks to me he never let off the gas and T-boned Craig intentionally. The thing that bothers me is that Craig was clearly faster in the first moto and although it took a lap or two to get around Friese because Friese rides a wide bike, taking out Craig was just wrong.
