Broke my ankle 8 weeks ago first ride of the season first ride on new bike. (Went from 2t to 4t on a sand track). I thought my summer was shot also. I wakeboarded yesterday and I’m back on the back today for the first time. Everyone recovers different and not specifically knowing your injury it hard to say. Look at Eli we know his injury and guesses are 3 months to 12. I guess my point is don’t get discouraged it will heel and you will ride again maybe sooner then you think.

Shoulder injuries only get worse over time, and the longer you wait to get it fixed just extends the recovery time. Its not something that will fix itself, in fact you can only make it worse. Doctors and their techniques are very good these days, I have seen a number of people comeback from serious shoulder injuries in under a year these days.

I had a torn rotator cuff and kept riding until my surgery date but I attempted local maddog flat track racing on my ttr125 and some asshat straight plowed me into the infield resulting in a dislocated shoulder, after a few weeks the pain subsided with icing it daily and tens unit. After surgery I had full range of motion within the first month and then had acl surgery which happens from the flattrack incident as well lol it was a shitty race and it’s been a rough year thus far but I hope to get back at it in...
