About Me

Hi their, I was a finish line flagger at two of our Home tracks for almost 10 years. Pleasant Valley Cycle Park and Owyhee Motorcycle club. I just stoped because my son doesnt race anymore and its just not fun for me. I did injoy it for many years and met alot of nice people. I do keep up with Motocross and Suppercross. Right now, two riders that raced with my son and I had the pleasure of giving them the checkerd flag many many times. Jake Weimer and Ben Evans are up and comming stars of the sport. Cole Siebler is another great rider that came from Idaho,and Ive given him the checkerd flag for many years. Well thats just alittle of my history except the racing I did in the 70's with Jeff Ward,Jhonny O at Indian Dunes from 73 to 77. Good Times!!!

Is the starting gate from LACR, the one from the International track at Indian Dunes? One of the last forward falling gates. Easy to jump,,,,But sure recked you down pipe.

How many people started on a Hodaka? I had a 100 that was a MonoShock with Honda forks and triple clamps I made. XR75 seat and tank. I raced it at Indian Dunes in the 70's. I either won or broke. You can see the pic in my profile pics.
