I like Cairoli. I think he's the best outdoor rider in the world. I just know that he is very calculated with his comments I think it's just as likely that Desalle would win the title as RV.

That's what Luongo's business model should be for the flyaway races. Races like Qatar are just cash grabs that make the series look bush league. I don't know if the Thailand race is a similar situation but that track sucks too.

Cairoli always makes excuses... I doubt fans who have been following him closely would really take them too seriously if RV did beat him today.

What are you even talking about? Cairoli historically plays things a certain way. If you knew anything about the GPs before RV started racing them, you'd know that. He'll turn it up.

He's been off his game and yet he's still finished ahead of RV in all but one moto. Weird. Imagine when he turns it up.

You are comparing a guy showing up for a one off race with a guy who was fully invested to race a series.

It's looking like if anything the nationals are the second class series. RV is the best AMA racer. He has been for the past 5 years. He's a top 5 guy in the GP's.

I would say that the one off rides of GP riders at nationals have been pretty successful. If they trained and tested in preparation for them with teams who knew how to set up bikes for the tracks, I'm sure they could get even better results. Who finishes midpack?

When has he even raced these guys? In 2011, the GP field was decimated and the guys who were there at MXDN were banged up.

Maybe it's harder to go balls out aggressive on a rough track? Every track can't be chocolate cake like a national.

You know what "isn't right?" He's racing against the toughest competition of his career. I think he looks aggressive and fast out there. GP riders have more race craft and go faster more efficiently.

Yeah.... I think a 4-4 on this track was pretty discouraging for RV..... From here on out the advantage for the GP regulars will increase big time.

Secondly, calling Herlings the FMOTP is interesting. We know he has high praise for Cairoli. I wonder if he is privy to some top secret testing info. It wouldn't...
