The moment a photographer (even someone with their camera phone) clicks the shutter and creates an image, copyright is theoretically given to the photographer. 2/8/2018 5:16pm Frustrating though when Racer X did a follow up article in '98 (so they have the info) and can't manage to give photo credit when they are using the cover for a story years later.
