When I was a kid racing BMX, JT was the coolest stuff you could have on. When I made it to expert class at 12 years old (1982) I got some of the leather JT race pants and a JT jersey with the shop I raced for's logo on it. I felt like the coolest kid out there, and I felt like I had to live up to the cool factor by racing my heart out and winning as many motos as I could.
