My '82 CR250 has the same issue but repaired it externally with JB and hasn't leaked yet. Don't want to tear it apart because it's original. I will be using Evans coolant as it eliminates corrosion and runs cooler. The Cannondale atv's used magnesium valve covers and had the same issues. Getting pretty excited to say the least. Here was his response: Extra parts complete 82 front end-original pipe-82 lower end and components-original plastic-fuel tank-new rear sprocket-49tooth -new chain-extra handle bars-extra 84 front wheel with good Kenda tire.
