The forks tend to be a bit springy, so I always set my son's rebound to 8 out. Try opening the compression a bit to ease the harshness, rather than lowering the psi. In the end we never got my son totally happy until we installed a spring conversion. Sorry, I read the weight wrong. 90 with gear would make her about 75(?) without. That's where my son has been until just this year and we needed a 35n rear spring and 66-67psi in the forks
