Hi Brooksie. Use VHT Case Paint, and look up KRAE Graphics in MA for decals and graphics. Lookup Pete's cycle and Sled, also in MA that can rebuild rear shock, and Buchannan Spoke and Rim in CA can provide the rims

Hey mate, so I'm up to the point of doing a bit of research on the z spokes and getting the rear wheel laced up, I'm a little stuck. I'm interested to know where you got your spokes and where you got it laced?

8/30/2015 11:52am Hi Andy, how is the build going? I am interested in what you're doing with your wheels; what rims and spokes are you going with?. Does the 87 have z spokes like the 86?

8/13/2015 2:25pm Thanks for the reply mate! My resto is about half a year away now due to an unexpected overseas deployment... at least I'll have plenty of money for parts! Nice work on getting them oem shrouds, I'm hoping there is another set out there somewhere! (red though) I look forward to seeing the finished product!

Nice work! Im doing the exact same thing to my 86 model. What did you paint the motor with? I don't want to paint it gloss. And where did you get the decals including the warning stickers?? Thnx

8/10/2015 4:02am Nice thread mate! Very well documented. I bought an 86 yesterday and am planning on doing a full nut and bolt resto on it, original colours though. From the small bit of research I have done its looking like the 86 and 87 are fairly similar if not the same just with different decals... am I right? Any tips? like...
