I got an '80 Yz 250 in pretty amazing shape for $1400. Powdercoated frame, triple clamps, hubs, new rims. Really good shape....But then it seized after about six laps. I got it cheap because it wasn't totally ready for the track. $2500 seems high to me but I am no expert.
