I may be wrong because im not a scientist but your lyphatic system would still clear out all the lactic acid, which is why you generally dont feel sore or the burning feeling hours after exercise. You will also get very sick and potentially die if your lymph system and blood is too overloaded with lactic acid, so unless you're...

Absolutely agree, I was just a little bit confused on the wording that was being used. 6 months straight mightve been excesive, I wasnt saying someone SHOULD do it, but some people certainly can, and many do... body builders in prep for a show are a good example.

A higher rep range (12+) with lower weight is what is described as the muscle endurance rep range, so in theory that would be best for a motocross rider, each person has their strengths and weaknesses though, one person may need more pure strength and the next may need to focus more on their muscle endurance.

Arm pump can absolutely be caused by lactic acid, but not from a workout you did earlier in the week. Lactic acid is thought to be converted back into glucose 30-60 minutes after exercise. Arm pump is also caused by your forearms muscles filling up with blood and expanding to where they are stretching the muscle fascia to its breaking...

I'll chime in if thats ok. Lactic acid build up on happens during exercise, post exercise your body starts to turn lactic into pyruvate and then back into glucose through the cori cycle. Lactic acid has nothing to do with soreness days after exercise. The reason why you get sore days after exercise is the micro trauma that exercise does...

I have! Back on the first page. Flexibility is probably the most overlooked aspect of any good training program. Straight out of a personal training text book the 4 components of physically fit are 1. Muscular strength/endurance 2. Cardio respiratory endurance 3. flexibility 4. body composition (weight, height, bf%, ect). A good training program will incorportate the first three to...

You're right your weight isnt an issue, but fueling your body with the right foods will help you perform better on all level, and recover better as well. A carbohydrate rich diet is ideal for athletes of any kind, especially if you plan on training quite a bit throughout the week. Do some google re search on athlete nutrition and...

I'm actually a personal trainer who specializes in training riders specifically in the northern california area. So far theres a lot of good information but 51xc said it best. Find your weakness and what you need to work on, whether that be aerobic capability or your actual strength. The riders I train we focus on strength, core, and stability/balance type...

He's going to be at red bud and budds creek too, at least thats the original plan, dont know if it has changed or not yet. He was riding a SX-F 250 in AX, I wonder how he'd do on that in these few nationals. I also believe its his first AMA national since 2013? Maybe 2012.

09 kawasaki 250, new everything from the piston up, including copper valve seats installed and cut by pro circuit. So I'm setting my valve clearances and I've noticed that the exhaust valves are abnormally tight even though everything is brand new. They are so tight actually that I'm down to the 1.40mm shim size in the hot cams kit... and...

Im gonna find some narrow ones today, if that doesnt i'll give them a call. I figured if my gauges are actually rubbing against the head itll make me think they are tighter than they actually are.

Yes, and their design would make more sense that it would cause less wear with the way the plunger part is shaped compared to the stock tensioners. You do have to check the tension often though ive heard so maybe people are getting that confused with excessive cam chain wear.

So I need to get a new head for my 09 kx250f, but I needed to know if the oem heads that you can get from like motosport.com and such come with valve seats and valve guides already in the head. Does anyone have any experience with this? Ive called numerous companies and of course none of the sales people...
