Before... Picked this 1990 CR250 on OfferUp for $2k. I always liked the 1990 model better than the red/white 91. It looks kinda goofy to me with the white shrouds but loved JMB's bike during his first full time season in the US in 1990... Finished it yesterday. Just missing the pipe which is getting refurbed. Just a quick restoration (not a replica) with only the necessary done/changed to make a clean, safe and rideable vintage bike. Took me 5 weeks...

Looking for opinions from people who have had both tech 10s and SG12s as far as reliability comfort sizing etc. I’ve been in alpinestar forever but spending 600+ on boots every other year is getting out of hand. My older style tech 10 broke in pretty fast and lost most of its support after a season or 2. My current newer tech 10s have great supports after a season and a half but the pivot hinge on the inner outside of the boot (where you grip) on both boots are no longer intact.. I switched to Sidi after being very disappointed with the soles on the ‘21+ Tech10s and I’m never going back. Would recommend Gaerne over A-stars as well, but I went with SIDI for the cheap and easy sole replacement.

1/19/2023 10:43am I also broke my leg last year in my tech 10's and was wondering the same thing. I was wondering about the sidi's as well as they seem to have more protection on the inside where I broke it.
