2/11/2026 5:46pm I know this is a very old forum but I have a PA ported cylinder but I can’t find jetting specs anywhere for the porting work. I have it very close to perfect but I wanna be sure going leaner won’t cause any harm.

9/20/2025 8:48pm Also that was and old pic, the carb isn’t that dirty when I put it on the bike, I fully soaked it and deep cleaned it.

8/17/2025 9:54pm so just got curious and noticed my buddy’s yz250 hot rods rod seems a lot beefier than mine, can’t figure out what brand mine is, just wanna make sure it’s safe to run. Already went through and checked run outs and it’s well in spec, so just give me possible brands, thank you.

8/11/2025 3:10pm That upper pipe mount bolt was missing I got a new bolt in it, both mounts are good. It’s just missing an exhaust spring and bad orings, also just found a crack in the pipe that needs to be welded. Only like an inch crack.

8/11/2025 12:03pm I had just changed it to 180 because 178 had a hesitation getting into the power band. The 180 fixed that hesitation but the powerband seems short now

8/11/2025 11:54am I Don’t have any of the nessasary tools to change the timing. I’m running 32:1 Formula K2 with 180 Main, 50 pilot, and 3 clip stock needle. At sea level, going to mainly be riding in weather from 30-80F.

It’s weird cause it’s really crisp with a clean transition from 1/4-1/2 throttle into the power band, but I noticed when full throttle the power seems a bit dull is the best way to put it, after just getting in the power...

6/30/2025 9:38am I’ve got a question of my own, would k2 work fine for a 125 that gets a mix of woods and moto? I do ride the bike pretty hard, what would get me the most hours out the motor, I’d like to get 80 hours on a forged top ends.

Both the 110 and C12 are leaded which is beneficial for a two stroke. The 110 is less expensive than C12 and will work fine cut 50/50 with premium pump gas yielding an octane rating over 100. As I'm sure you already know, It's a good idea to secure a source of ethanol free pump gas for the mix. The MRX02 and SX2 are both oxygenated and expensive. VP claims the MRX02 is legal for AMA Pro/Am, but I'm pretty sure oxygenated fuel is not legal for AMA pro racing. The Renegade 110+ is also leaded and another good choice...
