lighter/nimble
less cost on repairs overall
more power per CC of engine displacement

Well, it depends. There's opinions on both sides. I like the 2-stroke basically for the ease of maintenance and cheaper to operate. On the other hand the 450s have more power and torque, but are heavier and have more moving parts.
