If you can shoot a guy for stealing your lawn mower out of your garage, you can sure as hell let him have it for shooting at you.

all over the cities in this country. WONDER why there is police brutality? I'd be making a wild guess, but i'd say for every story like this, there are 10 others where excessive force was NOT used and further justified.
The cops called their "pals" to help apprehend them, not to beat them down after they were already subdued.
The fact that these folks were considered armed and dangerous after having fired at people (and wounding 3) certainly changes the dynamic from a basic traffic stop. That should be apparent to any rational person.
A few posts above that someone said they had reports that a cop was shot.
Hey, for you other guys who are saying what they did was illegal, shouldn't it be "innocent until proven guilty"? Or, does the law only apply when aligned to your opinion?
But if found guilty, I was talking about the kind of punishment a judge will hand down.
Regardless of what happens to the cops, I hope that it won't affect the punishment of those guys in the car, if they did what the stories are saying. Unfortunately, it just might.
It's going to hurt the police department not backing up their officers and instead caving in to public pressure and public opinion.
