we already know that Roczen will be in Vegas for the final race of the SX season, but what about M&M? as he is fully healthy, I think it would be good for him to get out there and race, so he can get a early taste of what to expect by the time May 21st comes around. plus(+) it would be cool to see factory KTM with a full 2-man lites squad for one round.

MM can't ride Vegas. Needs to be top 20 in points in either coast to get in.

well, solves that. thanks. so, will they even have qualifying for the lites? seeing as no one will not qualify? it'll just be practice, and then the mains for W&E then the DC shootout?

Notes:
For this event, the Lites purse will be paid out for
the east-west shootout Only. The east and west
main events will only pay Championship points.
For the Lites class, the 20 fastest east riders from timed
qualifying will be seeded in the east coast main event
and the 20 fastest west riders from timed qualifying will
be seeded in the west coast main event.
.
***Lites main event order (east/west) will be

Practice will be for qualifying for gate sports.

West Coast Heat Race will be a 15 lap main .
Riders will be awarded championship points, just like in a normal main.

East Coast Heat Race will be a 15 lap main.
Riders will be awarded championship points, just like in a normal main.

I think the top 9 from each heat will go to the shoot out.
Then 2 more out of the LCQ.

20 rider E vs W Shoot out 10 laps.

Here is the full run down.

from the above information, it sounds like M&M could try and qualify for the West Coast main event. if he finishes in the top9 or wins, he could just be replaced by who ever finishes in 10th for the shootout?

he can try to qualify for the east or west final, but he won't be able to ride the shootout.
but, do you really think KTM wants to put him out there at all?
i don't.

speaking of vegas... if Hansen will keep on riding injured for the championship, will he ride the shootout later that night in vegas?

I'm not sure if they also changed who is eligible to race Vegas this year or not.
But by looking at the practice schedule.... they have a C group.
12:20pm - 12:28pm Lites Group C Free Practice
12:30pm - 12:38pm Lites East Free Practice
12:40pm - 12:48pm Lites West Free Practice

However, sticking him out there in a SX right before the Nationals start, might not be a great idea.
However,he has raced a Supercross here in the States before,I believe(it was a while ago though).
He should be a championship contender outdoors for KTM,I just don't see him/them risking it for 1 race.

Roczen is here to get SX experience and has done some races this year here,so that is why he will be out there.
(I believe he will be here full time next year)

OK....one would think if he rides well and was feeling good he will.
I don't believe Hanny's hand is 100%, but it is not as bad as some would think,...I assume.
He is able to practice after getting a shot,he said prolly 80%.
With less then 2 weeks before SLC and less then 3 weeks before Vegas,we will prolly more then likely see him race the shootout,I would assume.
Like he said himself....he has all summer to cry about his hand. Smile
