Why is this thread titled 'JS7'? Wouldn't any of the riders fall into this category?

I've been a fan of this sport since I was 10 years old....

...I've never seen a rider with more critics over ever detail than James Stewart.

I was thinking the same thing.

Certainly James has dealt with other issues that some riders may not but when it comes to the effort and determination required for this sport that this quote seems to refer to it could apply to any one of them that lines up at the gate every week.

Trey Canard has had to do all this, while losing his dad at a very young age.
Chad Reed got where he is at, from packing up him and his girlfriend and traveling around the world.
RV has had a very serious injury and seems to have come back stronger from it.



There's not a guy that lines up for a SX main event, that doesn't have a story.
They ALL deserve the utmost respect for their determination and drive.

Anyone who lines up for an AMA Supercross gets my respect. All of these guys have overcome some adversity at some point in their life to get to where they are at now.

It really does fit James more than anybody. Who in this sport tries harder and "takes more risks" than James to be number 1? We have all seen each of the other riders get passed and accept it. James has never been able to accept it and "victory or defeat" is will to go down trying. Yes, I know he often does "go down" trying but that is why it fits him the most.

very well put bd49....... ive been a fan of his since i 1st seen him race gaterback on 50's, people used to call im '' baby chicken'' js7 , has done WORLDS fo this sport.!

I will say one thing. He's certainly willing to put everyone elses health and welfare on the line to win.

Pretty much have to go "checkers or wreckers" when you tell the world "I'm James Stewart, look at ME" as much as he does.
