Just saw the cbs broadcast and I'd have to say, Canards' pass on Windham was very impressive. Love that guy so talented.

Stewie's pass on Tabasco where he jumped into the corner on an inside line was pretty awesome. Pure Stewie speed. Not many out there can pull that off besides Stew.

Everybody else was rolling that last jump and even taking the wide line to clear the triple. Stewie hits it with enough speed to jump in, then slams on the binders only to throttle it and clear the triple from the inside.

All of those passes were cool, I also liked the one Tedesco put on Stewart hugging the inside of that left hand sweeper.

I had to rewind the Canard pass a few times; it's amazing how he just sorta bounced himself up front. It just happened so fast!

almost every 450 rider hit it from the inside at one point. the cool part was how he tripled OUT of that section, (like you said-getting on the binders) and getting turned quick enough to stay on the inside. it was faster to single out of the section and go to the inside and hit the triple (what most were doing) than it was to triple out of the section and be forced by momentum to go the the outside. but stewart was able to get turned. so awesome. and im not even a JS7 fan. really sick tho

Yeah, I saw them roll over it on the inside and get enough speed to clear the next triple, but I don't think I saw anyone jump in like he was. Stewie no doubt can pull of some things nobody even attempts. Oh, I'm a fan of EVERY rider, pro or amateur.

Best pass by far and im not a big tabasco fan either, just callin it like I saw it, very badass ballzy pass.

canards would of looked better if windham had not made a mistake through that section.

That is the kind of move he does, time after time.

If Tedesco had come to the inside another two feet or so, we'd be talking about him getting landed on AGAIN and James crashing out of another race.

That is why James crashes so much, because he makes these moves with abandon. 8 times out of 10 a pass like that works for him and everyone showers him with praise. The other 2 times out of 10 he lands on the guy and takes him out of the race and ends up with a 9th place himself. It's a roll of the dice and what's sad is that he doesn't need to take chances like that.

I think you better watch it again. It was pretty clear before Stewart went off the tabletop that Ivan was jumping to the outside of the corner to get a run at the triple. You are WRONG!

Here we go. If I watch the race again, I'll see Tedesco a few feet outside of James as James lands, not on the outside of the corner. But it was clear to you IT was jumping to the outside? Ok, fine, but how is it that he DIDN'T jump to the outside then? All I know is we would have heard how Tedesco cut in to the inside when he shouldn't have. Emig's wrong too, because somehow he commented on what I saw as well.

I didn't say this wasn't a ballzy, agressive pass. I said this is why he gets into people more often than most and ends up on his head. It's why he has 5 titles instead of 8 or 9. He takes unnecessary chances, and that's why he is sitting in 4th place right now. You claiming I'm wrong does not change what actually happens out there.

RD, RV, TC and a few others were jumping into that corner too but I do think JS was the first one to do it.

Shit like that happens all the time and there was plenty of room. JS passed RV in that same spot in the heat race. Did you see CR cut off the dude (not sure who it was on the Kawi) over the triple after he ran into Byrne in the heat race?

well, since I cant go back and look at the footage at the moment, I will have to get back to you. My memory on exactly where Ivan was could be incorrect, but I didn't recall James coming that close to him in the corner. I thought it was a good move and I don't think James would have done it had he not known there was enough room.

I don't mind at all when he crashes himself out. I think it sucks that others have to watch the shadows on the ground gettingbigger and hope they aren't zeroing in on their position though. Every move on an MX track is calculated, some are riskier than others. All I did was point out that James takes more and bigger risks than most others and he sometimes pays the price. It is inherent to the word RISK. When he does pay the price, his nuthuggers come here and tell everyone that so and so cut in, swerved over, or somehow else was the problem, not James'. He's shown time after time this year to usually be the fastest guy, yet he sits in 4th place points and has cost how many other guys points in the form of crashes/landed-ons? If that's what yer into, so be it. No one will ever accuse you of being a dreaded "hater".

There was plenty of room. It was still risky and excessive risk is what has cost James this year and other years. Point is the result was all roses this time. The next time it could be an injury or DNF. For the most part, James risks turn out to his benefit, but anyone would have to admit that he crashes more and lands on more people than anyone else out there.

Did you see Reed jump in front of the dude on the Kawi on that triple after he ran into Byrne? SX is risk and JS definitely pushes the envelope, one of the reason I like to watch him ride.
