Hey guys. Found out the name of that guy who told me he was a factory rider around 1980. I don't doubt him, but I'm curious if anyone (THIS MEANS BOOOBYM) has any footage of him racing. Again, his name's Daryl Dempster.

Thanks in advance.

Somehow I stumbled on this thread a few years later. Daryl Dempster was a fast local pro here in Colorado. He might have had a support ride from Yamaha through Yamaha Denver. He was fast but not on the level of Tim Buchli, Stacy Cook or Albert Firestine.

Are you the guy who told the story about being out at the local track and some hillbilly was bragging with his roached out wife about him being some long-ago pro rider who got hurt?
Then he went out and tore up the track as you watched?
