Lady here locally was killed by a piece of metal just about that size coming through the windshield about a year ago. Couple other incidents where cars were brought into my shop for repairs, one involved a 18 inch long, 3/4 diameter steel rod that came straight through the windshield, skimmed the dash, drivers seat and went through the rear seat into the trunk. The other was a total loss Pontiac Grand Am that a complete wooden pallet came through the windshield, folded over the steering wheel, took off the headrests and went halfway out the rear window. Driver ducked it by a hair.

Exactly. Who drives around filming some random truck in front of him and just so happens to catch a 4x4 coming through his windshield, and then doesn't even react. I would've at least dropped my phone and grabbed for the wheel.

I thought it was a setup as well. First time I saw it I flinched, but something just doesn't seem right with that vid.
