A lot if times when I order small oem Honda parts from Rocky Mountain, like nuts and bolts, I receive items not in a genuine Honda parts wrapper, but in a small zip lock baggie with a printed white paper label stuck on it. Are these really oem Honda parts?
Chances are those items were sold separately, but originally ordered and shipped in one bag. RM probably separated them and printed labels for multiple reasons.
Yes. A lot of OEM's will sell small screws, orings, etc in a bulk pack of 5 or 10.
Some small parts (fasteners, grommets, clips, etc) are packaged in bags of 5 or 10. So when we the dealer orders 1, it usually shows up in a random bag with a printed Honda label on it.
If RM is ordering multiple and getting a bag with 10 in there, they would pull 1 from the original labeled bag and put it a bag to ship it.
