What a great idea.......right in the middle of 2 title chases let's get all the guys together for no reason and see who can ruin their chances.

Just drop the east/west thing already. It made sense 15 years ago when guys in pickups showed up and made main events but could not affor the DRIVE to the next round. Make it 20 lap mains already. And stop calling it the Supercross class and the lites (fag) (non supercross) class. At least then winning a the title would be equal to winning a 450SX, 450MX, 250MX title.

Yeah I like that idea but keep it 15 laps!

Why 15? They race 30 min.+2 during the Outdoors just like the 450's?

I think they fucked up royally putting the teams in the nascar stalls. They need to bring the teams back to the tarmac under the rigs like they were and let us come and go. Not this 12-5 only pit access bullshit. That was one of the things that made daytona great.

That's a great idea, cut the amount of riders chasing their dream in the lites class in half! The system isn't broken so why fix it? I actually was thinking about the fact that the west coast guys don't get a gnarly track like this but should have one too.


I do like your idea of dropping "lites" though, it has never sounded right.

You know they just spent an insane amount of money to resurface the pavement at Daytona, right? That's their 18th green.

Yes, I realize that. But also see that the two honda rigs were parked on the newly surfaced pavement. They did the same thing last year placing the teams inside the garage. They are also letting the crowd inside later than they used to. Their way of taking control I guess.
