yeah. emig's a professional, he's been doing it a while and RC just seems a little subjective. he bites his tongue a bit lately which ruins his credibility as a commentator. just my opinion.

there's no barriers in what's allowed in advertising, let's get that out of the way. if tobacco wanted in, they would find a way. let's not stray away from the thread title too much, which is RCU-FU. i'll be the first one to admit that i strayed on this one. let's just burn this one.

why do you guys get so spun up over RC, I think he still has ties to Suzuki. What's the big deal if he has his guys he likes, He seems to compliment almost every rider out there at some point,

LOL, such spoiled morons here... It wasn't more than a few years ago that there wasn't more than 1 or 2 races that were live (Daytona and Vegas). Now were getting what, 8-9 races live (or extremely close to it) and everyone is still bitching.

Bitching because of ads and filler like Speed has a choice? They gotta pay the bills. It will ALWAYS be about money. Get that through your heads. This isn't NASCAR (and I'm not a fan of NASCAR) unfortunately. You're not going to get hours upon hours of coverage several nights a week. It's NEVER going to happen.

And whoever posted about checking out 80s and 90s coverage... completely true. I remember watching the mid 90s races and I had to wait a full 7 days after each race before seeing it on TV...

They should die? They don't give a fuck? Yeah Speed is showing 2.5 hours of coverage (twice tonight) and bringing us a bunch of live races because they don't give a fuck. If you don't like it don't watch it. Go watch one of the other 20-30 or so sports (at least) that have a bigger fan base and better coverage than this one.

Tobbacco was in, never heard of the Camel Supercross series? They gave them the boot, sent the wrong message to the kids, like there aren't plenty of wrong messages now days but that's a different subject for a different therad

This wasn't a attack on Ricky C. (GOAT) personally,
It was the time they spent on the up coming RCU (Monday?)...
During the time they could of shown the 250f (SX2) heat races, and
the LCQ's.
Most of the time the 250f (SX2) races are better then the 450f (SX1)
races...Plus...I have friends in the 250f (SX2) class that I use to race with.
If they wanted to advertise the RCU, that should of been done on a show
like "Wind Tunnel" or something like that? rather during live races!
or how about starting the live races when thay start, 1/2 earlier?

Lites name sucks, and the racers hate even more.
