Ok im sure this has been brought up a 10000 times, but I am new to the site. So that being said. I need to ship both my bikes from Arizona to Ohio does anyone no the absolute cheapest or best way to go about this?

I have looked at a few places and the best im finding is around 550 a bike which, im not to sure I can afford that so any info would be great.

Thank you

I just shipped my bike from LA to DC this past year and used "Forward Air"... Its great, you can use thier smallest motorcycle shipping container - and it's just a flat rate no matter how much stuff you put in the box. All I had to do was remove my forks and use tie downs inside the box. It worked perfect. I think it was about $450 or so..

U can put -2- bikes in -1- std shipping crate (That the bikes are shipped in, new) and ship that 500# "minimum" crate for $250).

U gotta shop it like anything-else.

Good luck.

I have not looked at the Forward Air prices in awhile. I do know it is cheaper if you would like take off the front wheel ect. and crate your bike. Compared to rolling your bike in a one of their boxes and strapping it down, your going to pay more.

Team Green I called a ton of local shops and no one has any crates so I dont no how to go about getting one.

I checked foward air its not to bad it just sucks id probably have to do 2 little crates cause I have both bikes going and gear bags.... Unless the medium crate could fit 2 bikes?

Any current 450 crate can hold 2 bikes w/ frt wheels/bars taken off. Strap'em tight.

Hit the net for crates.

You'll find'em.

They can ship as flat stock for cheap.
