Who should honda take to replace JG?

They said it would be someone from Geico or TLD.

I would say Seeley seems like the best bet. Too bad Hahn isn't healthy enough to race, this would've been an excellent op for him.

i say give it to a privateer. gavin gracyk keeps ring in my head... has been riding honda 450 on supercross, training alot at whartons, i think he is in florida now.

KW is already in the 450 class. When he raced the nationals with Factory Honda, it was because Geico/FC didn't already have him contracted to race.

I think it has to be one of the 250 west guys.

Decotis is to new to supercross still to jump up into the 450 class. And can he even see over the bar pad on a 450? Wink I'm kidding, he's a great kid but I don't think he's ready for that kind of pressure.

They really don't have a whole lot of choices do they? The only guy healthy and with more than a few SX races worth of experience in both of those teams is Cole.

No offense, but why give it to a privateer? Honda has generally always had more focus on results, rather than charity.

they had a shootout between j alessi and alberston a few years back... understand where your coming from as far as supercross results, but gavin has more than proven himself outdoors on subpar equipment. i think he could do just as well as cole on the 450.

nope...............he did good one year when the class was really weak. it would take something crazy for him to make the main in the 450s,

weak. lmao. i dont think its ever weak. all of those guys are hauling. and im pretty sure he beat some factory honda guys back then.
but in all reality, you guys are right, he doesnt have sx results to pull a ride like that. just wanted to throw the name out there. he shouldnt be forgotten. has struggled with injuries these past couple years, and is trying to make a come back. i think he can make a sx main.

I would think Seely gets the ride cause why risk Tomac getting hurt when he still has a shot at the championship and Cole has better results then Decotis.

I wonder if Honda offered Short a contract for this season. Although, Grant might've been slightly higher in a given race; i think Short is a better bet over a series.

I don't think they should risk Tomac on a 450 in SX. DeCotis wouldn't be bad, but I agree with Seely.

Jimmy Albertson. He was racing a privateer Honda and injured his leg (I think) at A1. Trey Canard's friend. They could be the Dynamic Duo on Factory Honda.

No one............Honda needs to sit his ass down, explain how short a professional career lasts and that he is on the best team in the world. He could be a champion if he stops the MM shit and the Alessi take out show. The kid is fast as hell and can win it all if he slows down a little and gets consistent. I have talked a little shit about Grant only because I like the kid when he was coming up (giant killer) and he showed so much potential in the beginning of his career. I wish him well and hope he doesn't pick back up where he left off. Get well Josh and go get what you deserve!
