Now Max Spies is out of German MXoN team we can lend out Moosdijk to the Germans (he is latest German Master so that make some sense). Then The Hoff can do it once again.

Remember 2018 and 2019....To honor those epic editions, we need to let The Hoff do one more.

He's the deserved ADAC champion and in the GP's he raced, he performed really strong.

Does KdW getting hurt mean Glenn get his shot now?

Still a chance of a win.

The Hoff rijdt nog steeds rondjes om The Moos heen op het niveau van de MXoN, met twee vingers in zijn neus. Dus geen disrespect maar de naakte waarheid. Moos is super goed maar Hoff is voor dat evenement de betere keus.

Phil, you’re obviously close to the ground with the British Championship, what was the reason why Mustoe got picked over Heyman?

You would like to think so wouldn't you , but no i have no idea.

I was told that Brooks , Heyman and Askew were not even approached, but until i speak to them(or their team) personally i will reserve judgement.

I would guess that it was because Heyman was poor at the  GP, compared to expectations, but it was the week after Canada Heights where he was proper ill after race 2 , in the heat.  It took him a few weeks to shake that off.

Like every other country, we seem to make hard work of what should be something simple on the surface, just like we did last year.

Will Ben Mustoe be any good ?  Well yes, he has won races here, and been decent even with a couple of injuries.  Speed wise i dont think any one of stands out massively above the rest, Heyman has been good all year and won the most races by far, and the others have picked up the rest between them, i think we have had 7 race winners this year.  Brookes and Askew have been good in EMX , when they have had the chance

As for Hammal, again, he has been decent, was unreal at the GP till he wasnt, and i like the fact he has got a shot at it, think Gilbert would have been a possibility had he come back a couple of rounds sooner, but at this point, we are going, with 3 guys that want to go, and it will be what it will be.

Could we have picked Wilson Watson & Anstie ?    Who knows.

Mustoe raced a few GPs and did well, Heyman didn't. I'm sure Heyman and his team were asked to compete in a few to see how he fared but I guess the British title was the priority. And I get that. I like Taylor but maybe Heyman on a 350 would have worked ok too. Either way, I'm always behind whatever team we have 100%.

The bigger question is, are Hoff and Kassemakers still interest in doing it?

I'd imagine Glenn is.

Its because someone is padding Chamberlains pockets imo.

Bummer to see some of these top guys go out, Kay is such a fun rider to watch.  All 3 of the big favorites now have huge question marks, France with Valin having no race time, Belgium with Lucas not 100% and now the Dutch with Kay out.  Spain is looking like the favorite to me.  US podium chance is on the rise....

Mustoe rides for Lee Tolan who does have deep pockets so I’ve been told.

Interesting that the others riders might not off been approached. My ideal team would’ve been Mewse, Watson & Heyman  but it is what it is. No matter the squad, you’ve gotta get behind the lads.

I would say that he spends what he has wisely... single rider team, no real frills, decent guy backing a good young rider.

Lee was a decent rider as well.

No matter what you may think, someone has to pay the bills but as usual, our fund raising appears to be fairly low key.  There was a stand at Foxhills, apparently, but i dont recall seeing it.

Although I don’t disagree that this could happen, the basic facts are if you didn’t ride a GP you weren’t considered. Brookes has shown some real speed but has crashed a bit, Mustoe is a similar speed, has been much more reliable and is a really solid choice. Askew is also fast but Mustoe won’t give up, he’ll grind out a result if he has to and there isn’t much that will keep him from finishing if he’s able. Given the criteria of no GP’s no pick I think we are taking the best riders, but I think any British team without Mewse is a mistake, even if he can pull one race together we have a better chance and that’s no disrespect to Hammal at all
