Hey guys, I don’t hangout here much anymore but I know there’s still a lot of good people on this website. I’ve seen Vital over the years raise money for good causes and right now is my time of need.

For more than 20 years, my grandpa called the top of Peavine Mountain home. He is a veteran who has always worked hard to build a life and home he could be proud of. He took the house that was there, fixed it up, and truly turned the property into a home. Over the years, he had gardens, animals, and countless memories that made the property so special to him.
 
The Hawk Fire completely destroyed his home and everything he had built. He was only able to get out with his dogs and had no time to take clothes or belongings with him. After 20 years in the same place, he is now left with almost nothing.
 
Unfortunately, because of the location and nature of the property, he was unable to have fire insurance, so there is no insurance to help replace what was lost.
 
We are raising money to help with immediate necessities like clothing and a place to stay, while ultimately helping him rebuild his home and his life on the property he has called home for more than 20 years.

I'm in for a few bucks.

I was just wondering a few days ago, not knowing where Rick lived in NV if he got caught in that fire. I always enjoy his wildlife photos and winter time pictures.

Hope you can rebuild quickly and keep living the mountain top dream .

Hey guys, want to come in here and rant and rave about how disappointed I am in you, but I’m not going to do that. 

Get it, times are tough all over. Imagine though, just for a minute, losing everything you’ve ever had. Rick is a fine human being. 

One less twelve pack, your parts order waits two weeks, put a crowbar in your wallet and contribute twenty bucks. 

Some asshole is going to say, “fuck Rick, they’ve already donated $45K”. Again, house burned to the ground with a life’s possessions. 

C’mon, make me Motodrive proud!

I moved to Northern Nevada about 30 years ago and started racing, and that’s where I met Rick and his son, just a classic moto family that would do anything to help a fellow moto brother...    and thanks to Vital.. a few years ago,  I got to reconnect with Rick.. our properties are about 12 miles apart as the crow flies… we have had a horrific couple of weeks out here with fires.    
Hang in there Rick, don’t hesitate to reach out.
