Just want to give a shout out to my buddy & Vital Regular Ryan Smith for making his first main of the year last night. 20th overall in qualifying and 13th overall in the main. Proud of you buddy.
Keep grippin & Rippin.....

PS.... Special shout out to that vertically challenged mechanic Nick Farley. Way to go buddy he couldn't have done it without you!!

Yeah so I'm chowing on some wings last week at BWW in Danville reading up on RacerX and the wingstess asks if I heard of Ryan Smith,...he's in CA a really great rider.

I never heard of him, but take her word for it. I even asked my buddy on the phone before the race last night if he heard of RS, he says no.

In the wee hours of the morning I see he comes in 13th, there he is Ryan Smith. Good job dude, I'll give a good shout to your people in the wing bar next time I'm in.

I will be driving east tomorrow morning headed directly to Atlanta, I want to keep racing and nothing is better practice than being on the track at a race. I look forward to Atlanta,Daytona,Jacksonville and Toronto. I will be back on a 250f for Seattle and Salt Lake. Thanks for the kind words guys!

Dude, he is/was a regular at Lake Sugar Tree and Birch Creek races.

My grandfather owns Lake Sugar Tree and turned the track over to me last year. I am heading back east to prepare for our Loretta Lynn Qualifier May 7-8th as well.

Great job Ryan! True privateer and what smart move getting a pocket mechanic like that. Ryan can just store him away in the van on the way to the track. Noticed him on the line a couple races back jumping up and down to twist the throttle for Ryan while he was getting ready to go.
