2023 KX450, just went to install my new graphics onto some brand new UFO plastics. Went to install the fork guard graphics and the guards are a completely different shape than stock and Acerbis. They say 19-23 KX450 and they do fit the bike. Anyone know why this is? All other pieces of the plastic kit fit great. Not sure if I want to cut up my brand new graphics to make them fit or get another set of Acerbis.

"Completely different shape"   What are some of the differences?

The shape is different, can't really tell in photos. My graphics didn't fit at all. I would have had to cut them up a lot to make them work. Had to clean off and reuse my Acerbis gaurds. They fit fine on the Acerbis. I guess UFO uses a different mold for fork guards? Had no issues with the rest of the plastic kit....IMG 3181 4

Acerbis are the only plastic brand that uses the oem shape fork guards, ufo and polisport both use different shapes to oem for some reason.
When people order kawi graphics i always ask what brand fork guards they are using as the template is  alot different to oem.

Interesting. Yeah I couldn't believe how different they were! There was no chance the graphics would work. I wish I would've known this prior but my Acerbis ones worked fine.

Funny this is brought up. I bought a set of UFO fork guards for the Kids 85 and the graphics I had didn’t fit very well. Not a big deal right? I put the fork guards on the bike and that goes fine and I catch out of the corner of my eye that the guards are so huge that there was maybe a couple mm tops in clearance between the guards and the side knobs. I had to cut them down just to have clearance in the real world on the track.

See everyone, I'm not crazy! Lol. Yeah that's interesting. In my case the KX fork guards have been the same since 09 from what I understand. You would think after 17 years a company who specializes in plastic for dirtbikes would have the correct mold that's close to the stock design. I guess that's asking too much, idk? I would imagine most bikes, as much as they've changed have had the same fork guards for decades. The quality of the rest of the kit is great, I guess it's just something to consider when buying plastic.
