Got to the track around 10 am and it was the first time there riding. Temperature was perfect and track was really fun and has potential to get really good in time. Well my clutch just cooks in two laps and done. It was the longest i have had a bike without replacing a clutch so I was not too surprised. Luckily my friend there let me ride his 09 Yzf 450 for the day. It was a totally different bike than the Honda but had plenty of good power and handled decent. He had it set up with way to much rebound but nothing a few clicks didn't clean up. The only thing I could not get used to coincidentally was the clutch. It only had maybe a 1/4 inch of clutch actuation. No matter how I adjusted it, it was like a light switch, just on or off. It was really weird, if I just barely touched the lever it was full clutch. He said that it has always been like that and I would get used to it. I said uh something is not right. I have ridden a lot of bikes and never had that issue. I feel like my Honda has over an inch of clutch action and you can kind of fan it to stay in the meat of the power but this thing was on or off. I would come in hot into corners and try to roll the throttle while coming through the turn but if I touched the clutch it was just full on. Oh well at least i got to ride and that is always a good day.
