Is still fun as hell. With all these parks popping up I got back into into it about 5 years ago. Carving bowls is just as much a rush as railing a turn. At 48 I'm back into it and surprisingly I'm meeting other oldsters at the park that are getting back into it after a long hiatus. Anybody else skate?

Yup, skating is still fun. So is riding a BMX bike. What can I say, I'm still a kid at heart!

My son talked me into building a mini half this summer. I just dusted off my jason jesse last week and ordered some new bearings/wheels. Getting too expensive to drive to the track, so this is the next best thing.

Right on Kirm, we built a 11' high, 24' wide, 13' of flat and 9'-6" trannie half pipe in the back yard. My son and I skate it as often as we can. Thanks for the link!

For me riding actually is less of a burden these days since we found a gas station on the way back from the track that sells ethanol fuel which is a whole lot cheaper that gas that we actually have enough money to go riding and still save money.Cool

I could not ride a skateboard when I was 13. I sure as heck am not going to try one now.
My youngest is pretty good on one though.

Yep it's gone, that place was a lot of upkeep. Sold it just before the market really tanked. Sold the mini for a thousand bucks to some dude. He got a great deal the Skatelite alone was worth 1,500

Yup, I still shred the gnar. I have 2 skateparks within a few minutes of my house. One is a sweet concrete park with a killer bowl to carve, pump, and do lip tricks. The other park is more street oriented. Both good times! Skateboarding was my first passion, then MX kicked in at around 10 years old.
